In response to Russia's invasion on February 24, 2022, over 200 Ukrainian PR professionals united to form PR Army and share critical war-related stories globally.
One of the key focuses of 2022 was briefing U.S. media on developments from the front lines and Ukrainian cities, achieved through daily news digests covering civilian resistance, military efforts, and humanitarian crises. Volunteers translated content, curated impactful visuals, and connected U.S. outlets with Ukrainian spokespeople, including government officials, soldiers, and civilians, to put a human face on the conflict.
Streamlining communication with U.S. producers, the PR Army became a trusted source for news stations, facilitating over 2,200 media stories and 100 live TV interviews. This work was a part of a global effort to secure seven U.S. aid packages, contributing to over $26 billion in security assistance for Ukraine since the war began.
We’re grateful to Plus Communications agency for helping us facilitate the work with the American media and PRWeek for this recognition.
